Prayers of the Rosary

Apostles’ Creed.
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,  who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate,  was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven,  he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit,   the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.

Our Father
Our father, who art in heaven; hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and shall be for ever, Amen.
The Mysteries
Joyful: Annunciation, Visitation, Nativity, Presentation, Finding in the temple
Luminous: Baptism, Wedding at Cana, Proclamation of the Kingdom, Transfiguration, Institution of the Eucharist
Sorrowful: Gethsemane, the Scourging, the Crowning, Carrying the cross, the Crucifixion
Glorious: Resurrection, Ascension, Pentecost, Assumption,  Crowning in heaven

The Society Prayer

Father, we thank you that you have called us to your service,
to feed your people by word and sacrament.
By the power of your Spirit,
keep us faithful to you and to those in our care.
Keep united in the bonds of peace and love the members of our Society,
that by sharing in Christ’s priesthood here on earth,
we may come to share in the joys of his eternal kingdom,
where he reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
for ever and ever.

A Priest’s Intention to be made before Mass

I intend to offer this Mass and the consecration of the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, according to the use, order, and discipline of the Holy Catholic Church; to the honour of Almighty God and of all the Church triumphant; to the benefit of myself and of all the Church militant and expectant; and for all those who have commended themselves to my prayers both in general and in particular; and for the good of the whole state of Christ’s Church, Holy and Catholic. Amen
